Dear Classmates:
Today I write the last post. I hope that you enjoyed my posts, because I think that I never write other.
Well, now I’ m going to write about the English course. In my opinion, learn English I necessary in psychology, because it makes possible update the knowledge, reading scientific magazine that in great majority were in English.
In my experience (I tacked all English curse), I had meet with good teachers. They had been awkward with subject and had tried teach of the best form. They had applied new and different methodologies, hoping that her/his student lean.
In relation with English IV, I think that it had been a good subject, even though that my multiples English’ problems. The activities had been enjoyable, although that, many activities are very difficult for me.
In my view, the blog was a good methodologies for lean and practice English. Furthermore, the topics are very interesting.
I think that the next semester, it could work with English text about psychology. In many course the student should translate text for make investigations, and English course could be a place for reinforce this type of activities.
Also I think that the course will should had less student, because we could learn more.
I hope someday learn English. In the future I want take an English course, maybe particular class, but this when work, because now I don’t have the money for pay.
I don’t know that more write, I hope that yours were very well and had a good week. Good luck with yours exam!

Student to protest over funding cuts and employment prospects

Demonstrators gather outside Milbannk

This news is about a student’s manifestation with the slogan: educate, employ, and empower, especially It is about a protest in London. This protest arises later of series manifestation produced two years ago.
In this manifestation, thousands students protested for the loss of educational maintenance allowance, the increasing tuition fees and the problems for find a good job later of graduate.
This news is much related with our national context. In Chile, since years, the students had protested against of system educational. In fact, the last year, thousands university and secondary students were mobilized a large part of the years. Also, the English demands are very similar to Chilean demands, both it want improve the educational conditions of the student.
Other thing in common is the repression exert for the police. The English and Chilean student had received a series of violent acts for part the police.
The psychologists, especially educational psychologist, can help or work in this topic means his work in the educational intuitions, means his work with student organizations, with his investigations, etc. In this sense, the physiologist debit to take an active role in the conflict.
This topic is important, because the quality in educations is a matter that involve to all society, for this the protests in this area are very essential and necessary.
I hope that someday this problem finds solutions and in Chile we had a good education.

One of my favorite movies is Butterfly’s Tongue. It’s a Spanish movie directed by Jose Luis Cuerda in 1999. It’s based in a novel with a same name.
The film tells about story’s boy and her relations ship with his teacher, in the context of Spanish Civil War.  The boy (Manuel Lozano) felt fear of the school, specifically of the teachers, because he thought that the teacher beat to the children. The teacher (Fernando Fernan Gomez) attains with his patience and affection win the respect and confidence of the boy. The educator teach to the student many thing, important thing.
I saw this movie the last year with my mother, because the mother of one friend recommends me this film (she is a teacher) and now, I recommend to you. The film I like because tell about the relationship between teacher and student, and I think this are very important for any people. It’s a touching film. The end is very sad! But I don’t tell you.
I hope you see the movie. You can buy in the entry of faculty or download of internet.

Hello everybody! To day I’m going to write about my opinion of the political system and my position regarding elections.

I don’t vote in this last election. In fact, I participated in the contra-camping “Yo No Presto el Voto”, promoted for diverse social organizations. The objective of this contra-camping were make a critic of the system political; proposing the other form of organization.

I think that in Chile don’t exist a real democracy. If we think in the Greece principle about democracy, we notice that our system political don’t promote the participation citizen and it don´t represent of the interest of the majority. One person isn’t citizen for vote every four years. In fact, one person is citizen when he/she organize politically and make assert her opinion.

In this sense, I think that this system political isn’t representing to the people. For this, the people did’nt goes to vote, raise the level of abstention to 60%. Is time of construct a new form the organization in where the people participle in his community.

In conclusion I think that vote isn’t the best form of political organization and I believe that our system democratic changes some day in the future.

I see you!

I dont think there is “greatest Chilean of all time". Despite this, today Im going to write about a Chilean woman very important for me. She is Maria Luisa Bombal.
María Luisa Bombal is a Chilean writer who lived between 1910 and 1980. She was notable for writing stories and short novels, where incorporated themes of eroticism, surrealism and feminism. Also, she ranks among a small number of Latin American female authors whose works received worldwide acclaim.
I love how this writer captures the feminine sensibility in his work, addressing issues that were taboo at the time. She was a visionary woman. In addition, her life fascinates me. She was eccentric and passionate, who lived and suffered for love like the characters in her books.
Some of her works are the novels La Última Niebla, La Amortajada and the Stories The Tree. If you want to read a work of this author that in English, you can choose House of Mist. This novel has been translated into Spanish. Here is the prologue of the book to become motivated to read

"I wish to inform the reader that even though this is a mystery, it is a mystery without a murder.  He will not find here any corpse, any detective; he will not even find a murder trial, for the simple reason that there will be no murderer.
There will be no murderer and no murder, yet there will be... crime.  And there will be fear. Those for whom fear has an attraction; those who are interested in the mysterious life people live in their dreams during sleep; those who believe that the dead are not really dead; those who are afraid of the fog and of their own hearts... they will perhaps enjoy going back to the early days of this century and entering into the strange house of mist that a young woman, very much like all other women built for herself at the southern end of South America" (p. 3).

Finally, if this writer were alive and if I could give her an interview, I ask two things:
1.-What inspired you to write your books?
2.-How would you define the modern woman?

Ps: this year the movie was released Bombal, starring Mary Levin. I recommend it!

I had a hard time doing the activities, especially the former. I have difficulty understanding English, so my reading comprehension is poor. I think the benefits of doing these activities are that I can exercise my reading and listening. However, I have to practice a lot, especially my vocabulary and improve my pronunciation. I think that's what I have worse. I think these websites are very useful especially for people who want to learn the language itself. It is a good tool for learning this foreign language, since there are many exercises and different levels of difficulty. Now all I have to motivate myself to study and practice English. I hope one day to learn this language.
